A 15-YEAR-OLD youth who allegedly robbed jewellery from a boy before threatening to stab him was arrested following a police appeal.

A 15-YEAR-OLD youth who allegedly robbed jewellery from a boy before threatening to stab him was arrested following a police appeal.

The attack happened when the victim was with his two friends on a tram at Elmers End station at 1pm on March 23.

Information from the public led to his arrest in South Norwood last Thursday.

The youth was caught on CCTV trying on jewellery which he had allegedly stolen from the victim before threatening to knife him.

He has been bailed until June 30.
