Children as young as four who are carers were rewarded with a VIP breakfast.
Some 22 were joined by Santa and his elves at The Cow and Pig restaurant in The Walnuts shopping centre, Orpington.
Staff laid on special treats for the children including a magician.
Carers Bromley’s chief executive Lynne Powrie said: “We are so grateful for the chance to give some of the many young carers known to us the opportunity to enjoy themselves over the holiday.”
A grotto visit to see Santa also bagged a gift.
It was organised to focus attention on the children who act as carer for loved ones.
The group said after doing so much for others they deserved a couple of hour’s fun and festivities to show they are “that little bit extra special”.
Carers Bromley provides support to 5,000 carers that look after others who, due to disability, long term illness, or frailty, cannot cope alone.
