Football fanatic Freddie Sweeting won the chance to meet his footballing heroes at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium this month.

The seven-year-old, part of the club’s junior gunner scheme, was able to watch the team’s training session and even challenged players such as German international Lukas Podolksi to a game of table football.

Freddie, alongside 400 fellow fans, was also treated a special pantomime starring the Arsenal players.

He said: “I got to spend the whole day at the Emirates Stadium, I watched the team train and met my favourite players.”
