Youngsters at a Beckenham church got creative in a kitchen last week, baking biscuits to raise funds for an overseas clean-up.

The little chefs dug out their rolling pins and aprons to create tasty treats in all shapes and sizes, including teddy bear cookies.

Their efforts raised £125 at a bake sale at St George’s Parish Church in High Street that will be donated to a charity dedicated to cleaning the River Jordan in Israel.
