Woman reports being raped by two men near Shortlands station

She is receiving specialist support

Detectives are investigating a reported rape which happened in the early hours of Saturday morning.

A woman in her early 20s told officers she was attacked by two unknown men at around 2am in Station Road.

The woman is being supported by specialist officers.

A spokesperson from Met Police said: “There have been no arrests and enquiries continue

“Anyone with information that may assist the investigation is asked to call the Sexual Offences, Exploitation and Child Abuse team at Lewisham via 101.
