A would-be robber pushed a woman in the face and demanded her car keys at a cinema in Beckenham.

A woman in her 30s was approached outside the Odeon Cinema in High Street at 11pm on November 25 by a man who demanded the keys to her car, which had been parked nearby.

The man followed her into the foyer of the cinema, where he pushed his hand into her face, before doing the same to another woman present in the foyer.

Neither victim required medical treatment.

The suspect, a black man, left the scene when challenged by the victim’s partner, who followed the suspect out of the cinema into the High Street.

Police say there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident.

Anyone who was in the area at the time or who witnessed anything is asked to contact DC Josh Higman at Bromley CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
