A woman accused of killing a man with a trolley in a Bromley shopping centre has appeared in court.

Melanie Buck, 32, of Chelford Road, Bromley, was charged with manslaughter when 60-year-old Michael Buckley died months after being hit.

She allegedly struck him with her trolley in Marks & Spencer at The Glades Shopping Centre in December 2012.

Mr Buckley, of Forest Hill, broke his hip and wrist during the incident and was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, where he died on March 5 last year.

Buck appeared at Croydon Crown Court this morning and a plea and case management hearing was scheduled for June 9.
