Woman cut from car after Orpington crash

A woman had to be cut from her car after crashing it in Orpington this morning.

The incident happened at 8.26am and fire engines from Biggin Hill, Orpington and Bexley attended the scene in Shire Lane. They had left within an hour and a quarter and the woman was taken to hospital.

A spokesperson for Biggin Hill station said: “The woman was trapped because of the nature of her injuries.

“We believe she hit the grass verge and crashed and hers was the only vehicle involved.”
