A WOMAN is in a critical condition after the car she was travelling in crashed into three parked cars and a tree last Thursday.

The 38-year-old woman had to be cut out of the car after the crash at 6.30am in Bromley Road, Beckenham, along with the 35-year-old male driver were taken to Kings College Hospital.

She remained in a critical but stable condition at the time of going to press with severe chest injuries and a collapsed lung.

The man was treated for minor injuries and later released.

Police have made no arrests in relation to the incident which caused the road to be closed until 1pm last Thursday.
