The Wizard of Oz and inflatable bowling will both be in Bromley’s town centre this weekend.

As part of a celebration of what the town centre has to offer now and in the future, the High Street Garden will become home to an outdoor cinema from 11am to 4pm on Sunday.

As well as a special screening of The Wizard of Oz, an inflatable bowling alley will also pop-up - as well as plans that show future town centre projects.

Cllr Peter Morgan, executive for renewal and recreation, said: “After a fantastic summer of events on our lush green lawn, this celebration of Bromley’s future shows that the town centre is an exciting place to be.

“This extravaganza, which will include an inflatable bowling alley and outdoor cinema, presents a fantastic opportunity to head into the town centre, take part in the activities and be entertained while you shop.

“There is set to be a real buzz in the town centre so why not come along and make sure you don’t miss out on this special event.”

Face painting, magic and balloon modelling will also be on offer in the town centre, as well as craft workshops, music and dance performances - plus a Pimms hut for parents.
