Employees may feel a little tyred at Wilkinson, in Bromley High Street, after they raised more than £700 for Caner Research UK with a sponsored cycle.

Brave staff members to turns to cycle the equivalent distance of Bromley to Brighton on an exercise bike, finishing after seven gruelling hours.

Terry Reynolds, store manager, said: “The cycling team did a fantastic job at clocking up the miles and we couldn’t be more grateful to everybody who has supported our fundraising.

“I’m really proud of the Bromley team, as they are always incredibly enthusiastic about fundraising for charity and encouraging customers to do the same.

“We’re all really happy to be supporting Cancer Research UK for another year – we had a brilliant time fundraising in the past 12 months and there’s plenty more activities to come.”
