A SURVEY into wildlife habitats is taking place throughout the borough until the autumn.

Three simultaneous surveys into habitats such as woodland, ponds and acid grassland are taking place to help improve their management.

Residents can get involved in 'Hedge training and monitoring' sessions, which are being held on June 3, June 20 and July 4.

Tree and wildflower identification skills are an advantage, but not essential.
