Wartime exhibition will commemorate VE Day

Historic artefacts and films will be on show

Bromley will commemorate the 70th anniversary of VE Day on Friday with an exhibition on wartime life in the borough.

Items from the borough’s local studies and archives collections will be on display in the Large Hall in Bromley Central Library from 2pm to 3pm. A national two-minute silence will follow at 3pm.

The exhibition is free but you will need a ticket. Call 020 8461 7170 or email localstudies.library@bromley.gov.uk to book.
