Phone and online systems have now been restored across Bromley following a Virgin Media outage this morning, July 7.

At around 11am a spokesperson for the council said: “A Virgin Media outage across London due to a technical issue means some of our phones and online systems are not working. Sorry for the inconvenience.”

However, at 12.45pm, Virgin Media issued a statement, updating: “Following a fibre break this morning, which caused a temporary loss of service for some of our business customers in London, we can now confirm that services have been restored to the borough councils. We apologise to those who were affected.”
