A pair of identical twins from Bromley have joined radio DJ Christian O’Connell for a human sized version of board game Guess Who?

Amanda and Jo Hone, 32, grabbed their five minutes of fame on Absolute Radio by joining 15 other sets of twins at The Harlequin Theatre, in Redhill, Surrey, to take part in the game.

The Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show aired the grudge match between the host and co-presenter Richie Firth, which saw them ‘flip down’ twins in order to win.

After two rounds Christian was announced the winner.

Amanda, of Crystal Palace, who is currently campaigning to create a community pub in Bromley, said: “We love listening to Christian and Richie and we used to play Guess Who as kids. I always liked Alfred and wanted to be him, but we played Anne and it was still great fun.”

Host Christian added: “It was a bit odd to ‘see double’ without touching a drop of alcohol, but I’m chuffed that Amanda and Jo gave up their time to take part. All of our twins were great sports, though I think they enjoyed dressing-up a little too much.”

You can listen to the Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show on Absolute Radio weekdays 6am to 10am on DAB Digital Radio, 1215 MW as well as mobile apps and digital TV.
