Comedy writer David Nobbs, who penned jokes for the Two Ronnies and Tommy Cooper, will give a talk at All Saints’ Church, in Bark Hart Road, Orpington, on June 11.

The Orpington-born author, who also wrote TV comedy series The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, will discuss his 50 years in comedy.

During his lengthy career, David also worked on The Frost Report, and alongside Frankie Howerd and Les Dawson.

Tickets cost £5 and are being sold on a first come first serve basis, with all profits going to Bromley Foodbank.
