Two men charged with Bromley burglaries

Detectives from the Met’s Flying Squad have charged two men with 20 commercial robberies, several of which took place in Bromley.

Cameron Weston, 29, of Balfern Street in Battersea and Nathan Ugbaja, 29, of Gypsy Hill in Lambeth were arrested on Friday May 25.

They were charged on Saturday, May 26.

All but one of the robberies relate to bookmaker robberies and took place in Bromley, Battersea and Croydon.

Both men were kept in custody to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates’ Court on Monday, May 28.

Weston was remanded in custody and Ugbaja was remanded on bail.

Both to appear at Kingston Crown Court on Friday, 22 June.
