Two-car crash on A21 in Bromley causes long delays for traffic around Masons Hill

Two cars collided earlier this afternoon

Paramedics have taken a driver to hospital after two cars collided in Bromley on Wednesday afternoon.

The driver’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening and he was taken as a precautionary measure following a crash in Masons Hill at around 3pm.

Police, fire fighters and ambulance crews were all called to the scene after the crash, which left one of the vehicles stranded in the middle of the junction of with Kentish Way.

The road was closed due to the vehicle blocking traffic, causing lengthy disruption to traffic.

A Met Police spokesperson confirmed recovery for the vehicle was sent out just after 4pm, with the road expected to reopen once it is moved.

Officers at the scene have made no arrests.

London Fire Brigade were called to the scene at around 3.23pm and say they did not need to cut anyone free from either of the vehicles.
