THIEVES suspected of stealing money from railway station ticket machines were arrested by police.

The two men were arrested by British Transport Police officers during an undercover operation at Sundridge Park railway station in the early hours of March 10.

A 28-year-old man from Bromley and a 23-year-old man from Southwark have been bailed to Ebury Bridge Police Station on April 17.

Police are continuing to investigate a series of burglaries and thefts from ticket machines which have occurred at Chelsford, Petts Wood, Chislehurst, Grove Park and Elmstead Woods railway stations.
