THREE people were arrested after a stolen car they were driving crashed into two parked vehicles.

A white Ford Fiesta careered off the road in Pickurst Lane, West Wickham, last Friday near the junior school just as parents were picking up their children at 3.49pm.

Police were alerted to a burglary at 3.14pm in Queensway, Petts Wood and the suspects were spotted leaving in the Fiesta which had previously been stolen.

But as police spotted the car in Pickhurst Lane, it hit two parked cars - a black Ford Puma and a blue Kia Magentis.

A 41-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, both from Croydon and a 22-year-old man from St Mary Cray were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

All three were bailed to return to Bromley police station on November 5 pending further enquiries.

Nobody was reported injured in the crash and the vehicle was removed at 4.59pm.
