THE trial of a businessman accused of having sex on a Dubai beach has been delayed by a month.

Telecoms boss Vince Acors, 34, of Homesdale Road, Bromley, was due to have his case heard at the Court of First Instance on Tuesday, but it has been moved back to October 7.

Mr Acors and fellow Brit Michelle Palmer, a sales rep, were arrested on July 5 after a policeman allegedly found the pair having sex on Jumeriah Beach.

The trial was delayed because Ms Palmer was not well enough to turn up for court and has reportedly been suffering from depression and anxiety.

If they are found guilty, they could face up to six years in prison.
