A TRAVEL agent had her childhood dreams come true when she starred alongside a celebrity couple in a television commercial for her company.

Jane Kiff, 22, of Beckenham Road, Shortlands, features alongside Jamie and Louise Redknapp in Thomas Cook's latest advert, launched on television on Boxing Day and in cinemas nationwide this month.

The travel agent, acting manager at Thomas Cook in Woking, had always dreamed of acting when she was younger and was put forward to appear in the ad by her line manager.

Miss Kiff, who has worked for Thomas Cook for three-and-a-half years, said: "When I was younger I did some acting, singing and dancing and other bits and pieces.

"I was an extra in Grange Hill and I always wanted to do that kind of thing so it was great to get this opportunity."

Staff who appeared in the ad, filmed by advertising agency Beta, were treated to a six-night holiday in South Africa, where the commercial was shot.

Miss Kiff added: "It was great. I only filmed for one day so I had a great break in Cape Town and was really well looked after.

"It was a fantastic experience, and one I'll never forget.

"Jamie and Louise were really friendly to me and I'm so proud to be a part of such a fantastic ad that I'm sure people will love."

Created by Robert Campbell and directed by Andy Morahan, the ad shows Jamie and Louise in a series of holiday scenes. Miss Kiff appears helping a family in the hotel where the Redknapps are staying as they set off back home from their holiday.
