The cinema is the first to open in Orpington in three decades

Tickets for the first two days of screenings at the new Odeon cinema in Orpington will cost film fans just £2.

The seven-screen cinema - the first in Orpington in over three decades - officially opens on Friday, February 26, with the £2 ticket deal running until the end of Saturday.

Locals can enjoy the latest blockbusters such as Zoolander 2 and Goosebumps on the cinema’s ultra-high-definition ISENSE screen, which is one of only two throughout the whole of the UK.

General manager Trevor Cavell said: “We’re thrilled to be opening our doors on February 26, and this ticket offer is a fantastic way for local film fans to see some of the biggest titles in our brand new cinema.

“Cinema has been away from Orpington for too long, and with our cutting-edge cinema tech and tickets at just £2 each – we can’t wait to welcome the public through our doors to enjoy a world of entertainment right on their doorstep.”

Tickets are available to book now via the ODEON website, with no booking fees:
