An inspector, a sergeant and seven constables from Bromley police were drafted in to help police a 500-strong demonstration outside the BCC last Thursday after bosses at the corporation invited BNP leader Nick Griffin onto the panel show Question Time.

A sergeant and two constables, were left with injuries after being crushed against a barrier in White City, West London.
