Three bloggers have been shortlisted for one of the UK's biggest blogging awards.

The “Brilliance In Blogging Awards”, run by Britmums, aims to recognise the best of the parent blogging community and this year three Bromley mothers have been nominated.

Mother of two Kelly Innes, 37, who blogs at DomesticGoddesque.com, has been shortlisted in the “Craft” and “Outstanding” categories.

Alison Perry, 35, a mother of one who blogs at NotAnotherMummyBlog.com, has attracted media attention with her blog, being featured in Grazia magazine and ITV1’s Lorraine.

The blog has been shortlisted in the “Writer” category.

“It’s such an honour,” she said.

“I’ve been blogging for three years about family life, fashion and travel. I get a lot of people reading my posts, but to receive recognition like this is amazing.”

Katrina West, 29, who blogs at CoolBananas-Blog.com has beaten thousands of other bloggers to make it into the “Fresh Voice” category shortlist, despite only blogging since September 2013.

She said: “I’ve been floating on cloud nine since I found out I’ve been nominated.

“I’m up against some fantastic bloggers, including TV presenter Katy Hill!”
