Three arrests over murder of Lee Boxell who disappeared travelling to Selhurst Park

Three men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering 15-year-old Lee Boxell 26 years ago.

The football fan was en route to Selhurst Park to watch Millwall play Charlton in 1988, but he never made it to the game.

Lee was last seen in Sutton High Street at 2.20pm on Saturday September 10.

Three men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the case by detectives.

A 78-year-old man and a 52-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of murder, conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and indecency with children.

A 42-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and indecency with children and a 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

All four have been taken into police custody at central London police stations.
