Farm outbuilding hid 600 noxious plants

A third person has been arrested in connection with the discovery of a huge cannabis factory at a farmhouse in Bromley borough.

The 42-year-old man, from Sidcup, was arrested on Saturday morning on suspicion of production of cannabis after the discovery of the factory in Chelsfield, which had 600 plants - enough to generate an annual income of £250,000 - two days before.

Along with two other suspects - a 26-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man - he has been released on police bail until next month.

Anyone with information about drugs should call Bromley police on 101 or Crimestoppers free and anonymously on 0800 555 111.
