Thieves get away with guitars worth £16,000

GUITARS worth more than £16,000 were stolen during a burglary along with jewellery and a DVD recorder. Bromley police are appealing for anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the 11 valuable instruments, stolen from a house in Hope Park, Broml

GUITARS worth more than £16,000 were stolen during a burglary along with jewellery and a DVD recorder.

Bromley police are appealing for anyone who has information on the whereabouts of the 11 valuable instruments, stolen from a house in Hope Park, Bromley, on August 16, to contact them.

They include a white Charvel guitar with serial number 312287, a white 1976 Fender Stratocaster, a Gibson Gothic Flying V, and a wooden Warwick Dolphin Pro 1 Bass.

There was also a custom made Thunderbird bass with Wal custom neck - the body has a graphic which is a Pink Fairies album cover Never Never Land. It had the serial number CB9001 and has made for David Turner by Phil and Brains at Chandler guitars on the headstock.

A DVD recorder, several DVDs and CDs, a silver iPod mini in a white rubber case, a pair of silver Jean Paul Gaultier sunglasses, several items of clothing and jewellery were also stolen in the burglary.
