Four friends from across Bexley have successfully earned their place at one of the country’s most prestigious media institutions.

Erith’s Maia Jobson and Isabel Jay from Bexleyheath will be attending Ravensbourne in September along with Belvedere’s Kara Lark and Emma White.

Together the four students ran London South East College’s own channel, LSECTV for the past three years, and have recently won a place at the university sector college, ranked among the world’s top 50 universities for art and design.

Miss Jobson, 19 will be studying for a degree in editing and post production, alongside Miss Lark.

“I can’t thank the tutors and technicians here at LSEC enough for what they have given me,” said the 17-year-old.

“Since I started the course I have achieved so much and gained enormous amounts of confidence, at Ravensbourne I’ll be able to take another huge step forward and realy fine tune my skills and professionalism.

Miss Jay, 19 and Miss White, 20 will both be studying digital television production.
