A 16-year-old boy admitted possessing an offensive weapon, violent disorder and common assault on Tuesday

A 16-year-old boy has pleaded guilty after an incident at intu shopping centre on Boxing Day.

The post-Christmas sales turned into panic when a fight involving a machete took place, leaving shoppers running for their lives.

The teen, who cannot be named due to his age, admitted possessing an offensive weapon, violent disorder and common assault when he appeared before Bromley Youth Court on Tuesday.

He has been bailed until he is to appear for sentencing at the same court on January 28.
