A TEENAGER was assaulted as he walked along the street in broad daylight.

A TEENAGER was assaulted as he walked along the street in broad daylight.

Police are now seeking witnesses who saw the incident on Upper Elmers End Road at the junction with Asprey Mews in Beckenham on November 18.

The 19-year-old victim was walking with three friends at around 2pm when a man jumped out of the car and lashed out at him, wounding his neck.

He was taken to University Hospital, Lewisham where he had two stitches.

The suspect is mixed race aged 18 to 21 and approximately 6ft 1in to 6ft 4ins tall, with a slim build, short dark hair, a beard around his jawline, and a tattoo on his neck.

He was wearing a brown Adidas tracksuit top with yellow stripes down the sleeve and a yellow logo on the chest.
