A TEENAGE girl will be on the sex offender's register for 10 years after forcing a mother and daughter to perform a sickening act on each other.
Along with her uncle and cousin, Deanna Moulson, 18, formerly of Barnfield Road, Orpington, waged a 'horrific' torture campaign against a mother and her two daughters which included beating them and extorting their money.
She was given a one year jail term, suspended for two years and ordered to sign the sex offenders register at Croydon Crown Court last Thursday.
In December last year, Miss Moulson, her uncle Stephen, 52, and his daughter Joan, 26, were found guilty of a total of 22 offences consisting of causing a person to engage in sexual activity, blackmail, harassment and assault.
Unemployed Mr Moulson, formerly of Euston Road, Croydon, was sentenced to 10 years in jail and lifetime on the sex offenders register.
Joan Moulson, formerly of Euston Road, Croydon, was jailed for two years.
The court heard how Mr Moulson first contacted the 46-year-old victim through a dating site in May 2006 and within weeks had arranged for her and her daughters, aged 18 and 19 to move in with him.
Over a period of five months, he subjected them to a series of physical assaults including being beaten with a bamboo stick, standing in a bucket of ice water for hours on end, standing in 'stress' positions against a wall for prolonged periods and being forced to sleep on the floor whilst handcuffed to a radiator.
He told them that he and his family were part of an organisation called 'The Mob' and that if the women did not do as they were told, they would be punished more.
On one occasion, Stephen and Deanna Moulson went with the victims to a caravan park and forced the mother and one of her daughters to perform a sex act on each other which they did fearing violence if they did not comply.
The women were ordered to take out loans and credit agreements with which the Moulsons bought three cars, electrical goods and mobile phones.
The mother and one daughter had jobs but Stephen Moulson arranged for their wages to be paid into his daughter's account.
The victims were finally rescued by Mr Moulson's sisters in December 2006 who saw bruising on the mother and asked her what had been going on.
They immediately took all three victims away in their car to a refuge in Kent before informing the police.
Detective Sergeant Gary Myers said: "It is horrific that Moulsons were able to create such a climate of fear that the victims were brainwashed into believing that if they did not submit to these physical 'punishments,' then worse would follow.
"It has taken enormous courage for these victims to give evidence and face their persecutors during the trial.
