A TEENAGER was taken to hospital after being hit by a bus.

A TEENAGER was taken to hospital after being hit by a bus.

The 18-year-old woman was crossing Elmfield Road in Bromley, near The Glades shopping centre at around 11.30am on Halloween when she was knocked down by a single-decker.

The teen was taken by air ambulance to Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel with what was initially believed to be life threatening injuries but was discharged the same day.

Elmfield Road and Kentish Way were closed during the incident so the air ambulance could land but reopened around 1pm.
