High Street pub gets new look and offers new jobs

High Street pub set for revamp with new jobs on offer.

The Swan & Mitre pub in Bromley will close on Monday (June 8) while it undergoes a £180,000 transformation by owner the Spirit Pub Company.

It will reopen on Friday, June 19, with a new colour scheme, a new bar and an extended selection of drinks and food.

General manager at the Swan & Mitre, Fernando Mejia-Dolores, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be undergoing such a huge transformation.

“The Swan & Mitre is a lynchpin of the Bromley community, so I am pleased to be able to offer even better surroundings and a great new menu to both our loyal and new guests alike.”

He added: “We are on the look-out for dynamic, hard-working individuals on the bar and in the kitchen who want to be part of our family of team players.”
