Suspected Orpington chemical leak leaves one hospitalised

Cause of leak currently under investigation

Police were called at around 1.30 pm today to reports of a suspected chemical leak at a business premises in Orpington.

Officers, the London Fire Brigade (LFB) and the London Ambulance Service (LAS) attended the premises in Vincent Close.

One member of staff has been taken to hospital. Their condition is not known.

The exact cause of the leak is currently under investigation.
