Suspects punched and robbed a man before leaving the train at Clock House.

A student was punched in the head as two attackers stole his phone on board a train travelling between Eden Park and Clock House last month.

The men also took the 18-year-old victim’s wallet and stole £20 after he initially refused to hand over his possessions.

Images have been released of the men who left the train at Clock House and travelled towards Catford after the incident, which occurred at around 9pm on January 6.

Det Con Sam Painter, of British Transport Police, said: “This was understandably a frightening and intimidating experience for the victim and we are determined to find those responsible.”

Anyone who recognises the attackers or has information on the incident should call 0800 40 50 40 and quote ‘B12/LSA of 05/02/2013’.
