AS record numbers of people are facing financial stress due to the economy, emotional support is being offered through a mental health charity.

Bromley Mind launched the Guided Self Help Project yesterday designed to help people cope with anxiety and depression from their own homes.

Funded by Bromley Primary Care Trust, it uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based programmes on a computer.

The project is open to adults who live in the Borough of Bromley and will be available from libraries and community centres.

For more information about the project contact Michelle McMahon on 020 8289 6872 or speak to a GP for a referral to the project.
