A RESTAURANT has been awarded the prestigious Michelin star in a new guide for 2009.

Chapter One restaurant in Locksbottom, Farnborough Common was awarded the coveted Michelin star in the latest issue of the Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland 2009 earlier this month.

Executive Chef Andrew McLeish, who was previously Head Chef at The Dining Room at the five-star The Landmark Hotel in London, said: "I am thrilled with the news. It is fantastic to have the team's dedication to providing high standards of food and service recognised. We shall all be celebrating.
