The St Mark’s and Keston Players return with their spring production next week.

The Noble Spaniard by Somerset Maugham will take to the stage at Keston Village Hall, in Heathfield Road, from Thursday, May 16 until Saturday, May 18.

A Victorian comedy, the action borders on farce as Justice and Lady Proudfoot entertain a young widow at their summer villa, in Boulogne. She catches the eye of The Duke of Hermanos, who refuses to take no for an answer when the widow rebuffs his approaches.

Tickets cost £7 for 7.45pm showings, with the bar open from 7pm to 11pm. To book, call 020 8462 4086, or visit
