CHAMPION sprint star Darren Campbell paid a visit to pupils who took part in a Team Superschools event on Monday.

The speedster, who won an Olympic gold medal in the 4x100m at the 2004 Athens Games, took questions from keen pupils at Pickhurst Infant School in West Wickham at the event organised by Bromley School Sports Partnership.

The visit was held to raise money for the school's Adventure Trail fund and the Superschools Award Scheme which gives financial support to young athletes.
