STUCK for something spooky to do this Halloween? Let the Kentish Times guide you through all things ghostly in and around old haunts this weekend, writes Mel Hills and Kate Mead.
n At Bromley's Central Library, kids are invited to the Horrible Halloween Show hosted by children's author Nick Arnold. The author of the Horrible Science series will present his show in the large hall at 3pm tomorrow and then sign some of his books. Entry is £1 and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
n At the Spa in Beckenham and the Walnuts Leisure Centre in Orpington, a Halloween Spooktacular will take place from 4pm tomorrow with prizes for the best fancy dress and some spooky fun and games. Tickets cost £9.50 per child and include food, call 01689 870533 or e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
n At White Oak Leisure Centre in Hilda May Avenue, Swanley, creepy goings-on have been taking place all week. Children are invited to play some ghoulish games, come dressed in their spookiest outfits and have their faces painted into horrible monsters. Activities for children under five are also on offer until tomorrow as well as skateboarding, cheerleading and musical theatre workshops and kiddie karts.
n Activities for all the family include a Halloween Quiz Night at the Belvedere and Bexleyheath Hockey Club tomorrow at 7.30 for 8pm. All members, friends and family are invited to the Bexleyheath Sports Club Hall, entrance is £5 per person with a maximum of six people per team.

n A High Elms Halloween Mystery Walk takes place today from 6pm. Tickets are £2 and booking is essential, call 01689 826815.
n Greenwich Tour Guides are urging residents to take a walk on the dark side tomorrow and Saturday. Walks kick off at 7.30pm, costing £5, and tell tales of ghosts, murders and sinister events in Greenwich town centre. Call Gill on 020 8244 3013 .
