SINGERS are invited to take part in an autumn festival at the River Thames.

The Sing for Water event at The London Mayor's Thames Festival, on Sunday, September 13, raises money for charity WaterAid.

People can join a mass choir to help some of the world's poorest people gain access to clean, safe water.

Last year more than 850 voices came together at the festival and over £30,000 was raised for projects in Ghana and Malawi.

For more information and for free teaching resources for choir leaders email Kate Forde at k.forde@thamesfestival.org or call 020 7928 8998.

Application forms can be downloaded at www.thamesfestival.org and need to be returned by April 30.
