Shortlands Library marks 60th year since opening

Shortlands Library celebrated 60 years of service with a coffee morning to commemorate the landmark occasion.

More than 90 library users attended along with Bromley Mayor Cllr Ernest Noad and Beckenham MP Bob Stewart, with everyone sharing memories of the library in Shortlands Road, Bromley.

Mayor of Bromley Cllr Noad said: “Shortlands Library is an important local facility with people across the generations enjoying the books, DVDs and activities on offer.”
