SHOPPERS were All Shook Up at a sing-a-long event to mark the 32nd anniversary of the death of The King.

Last Saturday, scores of shoppers at the Walnuts Shopping Centre in Orpington, battled it out to give their best Elvis renditions to mark the anniversary of Presley's death.

Out of the final eight, Kevin Butler, 41, of Tubbenden Lane, Orpington, scooped first prize winning a trophy and goodies including iPod speakers, £20 worth of Wilkinsons voucher, Thorntons chocolates, flowers from Time for Flowers and various Elvis goodies from Gift Outlet.

He said: "I love Elvis anyway and this was the perfect opportunity to dress up as my idol.

"The prizes were a bonus, and definately not expected!".

On August 16, 1977, the world was rocked by news that 42-year-old Presley was found dead at his home in Memphis.
