Crowds braved the cold temperatures and battering winds to attend the Bromley Arts Festival last weekend.

The town centre was buzzing with free activities including jewellery making, cupcake decorating, face painting and drum workshops.

Local dance groups, bands and even cheerleaders took to the stage to provide live entertainment throughout the day, which was supported by the Mayor of London’s Outer London Fund.

Town centre manager, Lorraine McQuillan, said: “The usual Sunday hustle and bustle of Bromley town centre was given a real boost as residents and visitors of all ages turned out in their hundreds to enjoy the festivities.

“It was fantastic to see people enjoying the entertainment and taking part in activities and demonstrations while they shopped.”
