A MAN appeared in court after allegedly shooting a shopper in the face in a racist attack. Peter Mahoney, 31, of Anerley Road, Crystal Palace, appeared at Bromley Magistrates

A MAN appeared in court after allegedly shooting a shopper in the face in a racist attack.

Peter Mahoney, 31, of Anerley Road, Crystal Palace, appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court last Wednesday charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, threatening a victim with a gun and aggravated common assault.

He was arrested at an address in Welling on November 18 and remanded in custody until he appears at Croydon Crown Court on January 19.
