AN UNEMPLOYED man appeared in court charged with two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Mark McCleod, 31, of High Street, St Mary Cray, appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court on September 22 and has been remanded in custody. Police arrested him on September 15 in Park Avenue, Orpington after complaints that a man asked two schoolboys to take their trousers down.

He was charged the following day. He will next appear via television link at Bromley Magistrates' Court on October 20 when he is expected to be committed for trial at Croydon Crown Court.
