Crystal Palace fans could soon be cheering from the terraces of the 12Bet Stadium, as The Eagles look set to complete a deal for the naming rights of Selhurst Park.

The Premier League new boys have played at Selhurst Park since 1924, but the club look to have brokered a deal with gambling website 12bet.com - which could provide a boost in funds for the coming season.

Co-owner Steve Parish is reportedly behind the plan, which will see Palace follow in the footsteps of Arsenal, Manchester City and, more controversially, Newcastle United.

Palace kick-off the season at home to Tottenham on Saturday, August 17 after playing their final friendly, again at home, to Lazio tomorrow.
