A SAFER Neighbourhood police team are to give out free screws which prevent tampering with number plates.

A SAFER Neighbourhood police team are to give out free screws which prevent tampering with number plates.

Officers from the Copers Cope team will be handing out the tamper-proof screws this Saturday outside Chessington Tyres, in Beckenham High Street, in an attempt to cut vehicle crime.

Officers from the team will be on hand from 2pm until 5pm to give out the screws, arrange their fitting and answer questions.
