A SECOND man has been bailed in connection with the murder of a football manager. The 32-year-old was arrested in the Caterham area of Surrey last Friday by officers investigating the death of Ryan Musgrove, 36, who was shot dead when he turned up for training at Sparrows Den playing fields in West Wickham on July 16.

He was taken to a south London police station where he was bailed until October pending police enquiries.

A 26-year-old man, who was arrested on July 23, has been bailed until September.

Mr Musgrove, whose fiancée was expecting his third child, died from gunshot wounds to his heart, spleen and kidneys.

Detective Chief Inspector John McFarlane said: "Ryan was talking when a man appeared from a nearby hedge, dropping his bicycle to the ground. He then shot Ryan three times and fled on the bike in the direction of New Addington."

The suspect is white and was wearing goggles, dark clothing and a dust mask over the lower half of his face.

He is no older than 30 and is likely to be early to mid-20s. He is 5ft 10ins to 6ft 2ins tall and is of a slim and athletic build.

Anyone with any information should call the incident room on 020 8721 4205 or to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
